With another night of cold forecast, shelters will open in Hillsborough and Pasco counties tonight for the homeless and those without adequate heat.
In Hillsborough County, the shelters are:
•Salvation Army, 1514 N. Florida Ave. This shelter is only for adults. Opens at 4 p.m. After-hours phone: (813) 221-4440.
•Metropolitan Ministries, 2010 N. Florida Ave. This shelter is for families. Opens at 4 p.m. After-hours phone: (813) 209-1077.
•Good Samaritan Mission (South County) at Bethune Park, 5809 Edina St., Wimauma. Opens at 6 p.m. This shelter is for adults and families. Phone: (813) 671-7618.
All shelters will serve meals and remain open until 8 a.m. Thursday.
Pasco County shelters are:
•Holy Ground Homeless Shelter, 8835 Denton Ave., Hudson. Transportation and hot meals will be provided. (727) 863-9123.
•First United Methodist Church of New Port Richey, 5901 Indiana Ave., New Port Richey. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
•Hope Lutheran Church, 12321 Canton Ave., Hudson. Doors open at 5 p.m. (727) 359-6538.
•Community Chapel, 5320 First St., Zephyrhills. Doors open at 6 p.m.
•Farm Workers Building, 37105 Lock St., Dade City. Doors open at 7 p.m.
