Hill Harper To Speak For Obama In Tampa
Chalk up one more Obama surrogate in Tampa tomorrow— Hill Harper, known most recently as Dr. Sheldon Hawkes in “CSI: NY,” will speak at the Voter Education Barbecue at Ragan Park, 1200 E. Lake Ave.
Harper is something of a scholar as well as an actor. A graduate of Harvard Law School and its Kennedy School of Government, Harper produced and hosted a documentary called “Lessons From Little Rock” about the effect of school desegregation there during the civil rights movement.
