A 1984 green Mercedes that runs on vegetable oil was supposed to be at the Bucs game Sunday.
The car, which tours the country’s sports venues, might have got lost in all the hoopla, though.
Joe Connor of San Deigo drives the car around the country to raise awareness about alternative fuels.
The car runs on diesel, bio-diesel or used vegetable oil from restaurants. He’s got a system set up where the oil is filtered and then heated up so it can be thinned out and used in a car.
