Greek-American GOP Activist Raises $$ For Bilirakis
Freshman GOP Rep Gus Bilirakis is headed to the Big Apple tonight, where a $500 per-person fundraiser-reception is to be held on his behalf.
The event’s organizer is Peter Pappas, head of the New York State Hellenic American Republican Association, a prominent Greek-American organization. The reception is set for the Kellari Parea Restaurant on East 20th Street in Manhattan from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., says Pappas’ office.
Three Democrats, as well as three other candidates, are seeking to unseat Bilirakis, of Palm Harbor, in this fall’s elections.
