Again, the weather service has issued a freeze warning for Hernando County north with temperatures in the central and eastern sections of Hernando dropping to the high 20s. It seems like every week it gets down to freezing in the northern counties.
The warning does not extend to Pasco, though it would be no surprise if parts of eastern Pasco hit freezing.
It’s the same for eastern Hillsborough, where the weather service isn’t calling for a freeze, but pretty close. Most of Hillsborough should be 40 degrees or colder.
Regardless, you can expect some patchy frost in the morning in the Tampa Bay area.
In Hernando, freezing temperatures should settle in about 3 a.m. and last until about 8 a.m.
Tonight will be the coldest night of the week. Wednesday is forecast to be a good 6 or 7 degrees warmer than today.
