Gay Republicans plan Homocon 2012 party in Ybor

GOProud, an organization of gay Republicans, is planning a party in Ybor City during the RNC 2012 convention called Homocon 2012.
It will be Tuesday, Aug. 28, the second night of the convention, at The Honey Pot, a bar in Ybor City. It begins after the nightly RNC convention session ends.

Among the confirmed attendees, according to the event web site, are anti-tax activist Grover Norquist, well-known GOP political operative and commentator Mary Matalin, former American Conservative Union chair and CPAC vice chair David Keene, and Tea Party Express Chair Amy Kremer.
