The Forecast, In A Word: Rain

It looks like everyone will have a chance to get some rain the next couple days.

Today, it’s folks around Tampa Bay and inland. That’s where the sun will heat things up and add one more element to produce rain.

The rain is coming from that stalled front that’s been around most of the week. Rain in the days to come will be from a different front.

Showers are moving in from the Gulf. The weather service says the possibility of rain will taper off in the afternoon for Tampa, dropping from 60 percent-70 percent to 30 percent-50 percent. The chance for some of that rain to come from thunderstorms holds steady at about 20 percent.

Unlike with our summer rain pattern, the chance of rain will linger until well after midnight. Unless you’re under one of the stray thunderstorms, the weather service says, there won’t be huge amounts of rain.

Things are reversed in Polk County, where the rain and thunderstorm chances will increase in the afternoon. That’s where the afternoon heating comes in.

Clouds should prevent things from heating as much and keep the rain chances down in Hernando County.

Enough is enough.  Now Florida’s Charlie Chapstick Crist is “interviewing” for the VP position on the McCain ticket?  This is the same guy that made promise after promise to “Floridians and has FALIED miserably on all promises….with the exception of having a great tan and a hot babe.

Charlie, get your ##### back to Florida and LEAD for a change.  You are being PAID by Floridians to do a job here, one that you have failed so far.  I think you really need to look deep inside yourself and ask “Do I make my parents proud?  Do I make the people of Florida that ELECTED me proud?  What can I do to regain both my self respect as well as the respect of Floridians?”

Chuck, think about being successful in Florida FIRST
