The kind of weather that folks here like to brag about to those up north will continue its run through the rest of the workweek and even into the weekend.
Then another front looks like it’s going to stall and peter out over Florida on Saturday or Sunday, forecasters think. Or it may pass over this part of Florida.
Either way it means a small shot of rain in the afternoons Sunday through Tuesday. How much rain depends on the amount of moisture that creeps in from the Caribbean and how active the sea breezes are, the weather service says.
While all this is happening, it keeps getting closer to air conditioner weather.
Temperatures are going to start nudging from the middle 80s into the upper 80s. And the dew points are closing in on the summertime levels, meaning the humidity is increasing. If the forecast holds, by the start of next week dew points will approach the upper 60s, close to that 70 or so where we start to complain.
