Drier Air Spoils Forecast!


Wonder where the rain was today? So do we!  We anticipated a west wind off the Gulf of Mexico that USUALLY brings moisture and additional rain chances.  So, we called for a 50% chance.  Well, some upper-level drier air moved in to our area and ruined those 50% chances.

In fact, most of us stayed very dry and warm today.  That’s why we say weather forecasting isn’t an exact science!  But sometimes, you learn more from a busted forecast than from one that verifies!
