When the strong tropical cyclone Nargis struck Myanmar (Formerly Burma), it leveled the area. Right now, they are estimating 10,000 people may be dead. At landfall, the storm was a Category 4 with nearly 130 mph winds. In the Indian Ocean, hurricane season begins in May, so it’s not out of the question to get a storm this early for them.
