Charlie Miranda used the bar television to monitor election results at Johnny Carino’s Restaurant, 1102 N. Dale Mabry Highway.

His supporters were more high-tech, using BlackBerrys to monitor the Supervisor of Elections Web site.
HART board member David Mechanik was among Miranda’s supporters at the restaurant.
