Count Walter G. “Skip” Campbell as the latest high-profile Democrat to line up behind no-party candidate Charlie Crist for governor.
Campbell, of Coral Springs, is a former state senator who ran unsuccessfully for attorney general in 2006 against Bill McCollum.
Along with Rep. Ari Porth, D-Coral Springs, high-powered Democratic lawyers Tom Panza and Susan Maurer and others, Campbell will host a funder for Crist at his home Thursday.
