Tampa Republican media strategist Adam Goodman and leading Tampa Democrat Alex Sink have found some common ground—co-hosting a fundraising gala to benefit public affairs programming on WEDU, West Central Florida’s PBS affiliate.

The event will take place starting at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the WEDU Berkman Family Broadcast Center at 1300 N. Boulevard.

It will include panels of the local political insiders and experts who appear on WEDU’s Florida This Week show, hosted by Rob Lorei. Two special editions of the show will be taped for airing Friday – one analyzing the outcome of last week’s election, and one on what to expect politically in the future.

Besides Sink and Goodman, the guest list is a who’s-who of local politicos and pundits including Will Weatherford, Rick Kriseman, Darryl Rouson, Rick Baker, Jeff Brandes, Bill McBride, Patrick Manteiga, Mike Deeson, Alison Morano and more.

A limited number of tickets are still available. More information can be found online at or by phone at 813‐254‐9338 ext. 2241.
