Bright House Field in Clearwater, home of the Philadelphia Phillies’ spring training games, will host a special event tonight for Rays and Phillies.
The public is invited to watch tonight’s World Series game on the Jumbotron and other flat-screen televisions. Gates open at 4:30 p.m.; the game starts at 8:35.
The event also includes live music and bean-bag games. Admission is free. Food and drinks will be on sale at the stadium’s tiki bar, Frenchy’s.
This is a one-time event, with no plans to continue during later World Series games.

What a great idea! I wish I read the newspaper sooner. I hope the night was successful so that you will do it again during this World Series. Thank you.
