Two quickie polls say voters not believing Cain

A couple of quickie polls, both done by robocalling, suggest many voters aren’t buying Herman Cain’s explanations of the sexual harassment charges against him—but also show huge splits on the question between men and women, and between Democrats and Republicans.

A poll by Rasmussen Reports Monday and Tuesday indicated that 51 percent of respondents said the allegations against Cain were serious and likely were true, but with an error mnargin of 3 percentage points.

Another, by Poll Position, a company founded by former CNN news and polling executives, showed a plurality of 43 percent said they don’t believe Cain, while 35 percent said they do and 22 percent said they had no opinion.

In the Poll Position survey, conducted Tuesday, women disbelieved Cain by 48-27 percent, and men believed him by 43-38 percent. Republicans believed him by 54-24 percent, and Democrats disbelieved him by 63-15 percent.

The poll’s error margin was 3 percentage points; error margins for separated samples, such as gender or political party, would be higher.

Interesting the timing of all these accusations.  Cain has been front and center for months now and why did these accusations just come out.  Things that make you go ummmm.

I guess neither of the women that are making the accusations have a very good track record, Buy-A-Lick apparently had a reputation when she worked with a major TV station according to the anchor and the other one has numerous cases like what she is accusing Cain of in her record. But leave it to the Oblowso led media to sensationalize the story coming from women most would call sluts!
