The Nation (Pakistan): Trop A CIA-MacDill Tunnel Outlet

I have long said that almost every twisted road leads to Tampa, meaning that there are so many big national stories that have ties here.

Looks like the conspiracy theorists - which one source of mine calls the Asteroid Belt - have been listening.

You know those two earthquakes Tuesday and the unusual noise at the Trop?

All related, according to reports floating around the Internet. I finally decided to blog about this when I read it in The Nation, an English-language paper in Pakistan.

In a nutshell (which may be the best way to describe it) the story goes like this: The earthquakes were not natural occurances, but the result of nuclear explosions at both ends of a vast tunnel system linking Colorado and Washington D.C. The nukes were set off in a war between the CIA and the government - the same war that was the real 9/11 attack. The first indication of this explosion came at the Trop, when an unusual noise heard at the Dome of Doom was actually the sound of air escaping the vast tunnel system.

There is, of course, so much wrong with the story, but, as crack copy editor Rick Mayer likes to point out, first of all, the concept of tunnels running under the mushy muck of Tampa Bay is fairly ludicrous. Then add the fact that the Trop is about 15 miles away from MacDill.

Of course, a CIA tunnel running from MacDill to the Trop explains a lot about why the Rays still play there.

A frightening foreign military intelligence directorate (GRU) report circulating in the Kremlin states that over the past nearly 48 hours the vast intercontinental military tunnel complex constructed by the United States Air force over the past nearly 45 years was hit with two powerful nuclear explosions at its main terminuses in Colorado and Virginia used nearly exclusively by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).

According to this report, this unprecedented nuclear attack began on the evening of 22 August when one of the main air pressure relief tunnels for this CIA tunnel, located at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa Florida, was forced open allowing millions of cubic feet of air to rush suddenly into the atmosphere. The unique sound of this event was captured by video during a baseball game being played at Tropicana Field near MacDill, though US officials blamed the “mystery noise” on a faulty sound system.
