Sharpe will challenge Castor

Hillsborough County Commissioner Mark Sharpe announced this morning he will challenge U.S. Rep. Kathy Castor for her District 11 congressional seat, perhaps the most serious challenge Castor has faced so far.
Sharpe, who holds a countywide seat and has hinted for months that he is interested in running for Congress, made his announcement at Buddy Brew coffee shop at 2020 W. Kennedy Blvd.
