Updated: Scott gets some inside help from Bush-era White House staff

GOP gubernatorial candidate Rick Scott is not only getting face time on this week’s“unity tour” with Republican celebs like Jeb Bush and Haley Barbour, he’s also getting some help inside the campaign from a W. Bush-era White House staffer.

Scott’s campaign has now confirmed that Spencer Geissinger has joined Scott’s team as new director of operations. Geissinger served in the administration of President George W. Bush as deputy assistant to the President for advance and operations. He had previously served as events and operations director of the 2005 inaugural committee.
