Romney gets backing from Weatherford, Dorworth and Corcoran

Mitt Romney today announced he’s been endorsed by the three incoming state House speakers who formerly backed Tim Pawlenty—Will Weatherford of Wesley Chapel, Chris Dorworth of Lake Mary and Richard Corcoran of Trinity.

Pawlenty left the race in August and endorsed Romney.

Romney already had the most support of any canididate in the GOP primary among establishment Republicans in Florida; this adds to that advantage.

Current House Speaker Dean Cannon, however, backs Rick Perry.
