Perry’s Tampa Bay leadership team

GOP presidential contender Rick Perry has announced members of his Tampa Bay area leadership, which consists mostly of county-level Republican Party activists.

Wes Maddox, who lives in Tampa and Texas and is a long-time friend of Perry, is his Hillsborough County chairman, with local party activists Josh Burgin and Terry Gaffney as co-chairs.

Bill Bunting, Pasco County state committeeman and a well-known gun rights activist, is the Pasco chairman, and Chet Renfro, Pinellas county party treasurer, is Pinellas chairman.

Others include Maria Converse, Citrus County chair; Tabatha Matassa, Hernando County chair; Heather Goldin, Manatee County chair; and Julie Brady, Sarasota County chair.
