Obama to raise big-time coin with Vince Carter, John Morgan

NBA star Vince Carter and prominent trial John Morgan will host a $30,000-per-person fundraiser for the Barack Obama Victory Fund Feb. 23 at Carter’s home in Windermere.

“This event is a once in a life time event, ” said an email from Morgan inviting friends to attend, calling it a “very small dinner with some of the greatest basketball players of all time,” and that Carter’s home “alone is worth price of admission.”

“The room will be filled with NBA hall of famers and future hall of famers and some musical superstars,” he added.

Unlike the campaign, the victory fund, a party-related committee can accept large contributions.
