LeRoy Collins Jr., son of former governor, killed in bicycle crash

LeRoy Collins Jr., a retired admiral and the son of a former governor was killed this morning while riding his bicycle in South Tampa, according to Tampa Police.
Collins, 75, was riding his bicycle when it was hit by a sport utility vehicle at Brorein Street and South Hyde Park Avenue just before 7 a.m.
