Jeb Bush Jr., son of the former governor, has endorsed Jon Huntsman in the GOP presidential primary and will be the national leader of Huntsman’s youth outreach program.
The Huntsman campaign announced the endorsement today along with that of Ana Navarro, a Republican political consultant who was a member of Gov. Jeb Bush’s transition team and an official of the John McCain’s Hispanic outreach effort.
Jeb Jr. works with his father in real estate in Miami, but his backing of Huntsman probably shouldn’t be read as an indication of his father’s political leanings. In the 2008 primary, he and his brother, George P. Bush, backed different candidates—Jeb Jr. backed Rudy Giuliani and George P. backed Fred Thompson.
