Herberger signs with Huntsman

Miami-based GOP fundraising consultant Ann Herberger, who has a long history working with the campaigns of Jeb Bush, George W. Bush and George H.W. Bush, has signed up as senior finance director for the Huntsman presidential campaign.

Another Bush loyalist, Tom Loeffler of Texas, will be Huntsman’s national chairman.

Herberger worked for Mitt Romney in the 2008 campaign, and began this election cycle working for the Tim Pawlenty campaign. Pawlenty has now left the race.

One of Jeb Bush’s sons, Jeb Jr., is also involved in the Huntsman campaign, but other Jeb Bush loyalists have signed up with other candidates and Jeb Bush himself is staying publicly neutral.
