Adam Hasner has selected his “grassroots leadership team” in Hillsborough County, his U.S. Senate campaign says today.
The list includes Sam Rashid, prominent east Hillsborough donor, fundraiser and businessman; Josh Burgin who ran unsuccessfully for Hillsborough County Commissioner Mark Sharpe and is
brother to Rep. Rachel Burgin; and Brad Faircloth, a Republican and ordained minister at Palma Ceia Primitive Baptist Church in Tampa, who filed on June 3 to challenge County Commissioner Kevin Beckner in the 2012 elections.
“Building a strong grassroots infrastructure throughout the state is priority number one for this campaign and today’s announcement is another step in the right direction,” Hasner said in a written statement. “The dedication and passion of these community and business leaders is the backbone of our team and I’m grateful for their support.”
