Florida House proposes several redistricting options

The Florida House Redistricting Committee on Tuesday unveiled several options for new districts that take into account the 2010 Census demographics.

Unlike the Senate reapportionment committee that came up with one map for Congressional seats and one for state Senate seats, the House committee came up with multiple options for districts – seven Congressional maps and five state House maps, with different district numbers than existing districts.
