Edwards’ Critics Get Snippy

I’m cutting it a little close - no pun intended - with this announcement, but nevertheless, I feel compelled to spread the word:

While John Edwards rides the “Evan Almighty” wave by holding a fundraising party at the Lowry Park Zoo, a Tampa radio station will gather outside offering free haircuts for “the other America.”

Edwards, of course, is the candidate who, despite running a campaign based on attacking the divide between the haves and have-nots, spent $400 in campaign funds on a haircut earlier this year. The wags at Newstalk AM 1040 are among the critics who won’t let him forget it.

No matter how you feel about Edwards, a free haircut is a free haircut! So get on over to the zoo, where stylists from Bangz Salon & Spa will create your new look. Guys: Ask for the “Political Buzz…”
