Deadline for holiday packages to overseas troops Monday Dec. 3

With more than 60,000 troops in Afghanistan, and hundreds of thousands more deployed around the globe, it’s a good time to think about deadlines for shipping holiday packages oversees. It’s coming up right quick.
Here’s a reminder from the MacDill Air Force Base Facebook page:
Don’t forget, in order to get holiday packages (parcel airlift) to an APO box by Dec. 25 is Dec. 3!
Other deadlines—APO mail: Priority Mail Dec. 10, First-class letters and cards Dec. 10, Express Mail(where available) Dec. 17.
For domestic mail: Parcel Post Dec. 14, First-class due Dec. 20, Priority Mail due Dec. 21, Express Mail due Dec. 22.
