Cain hits Tampa Bay area stops today, tomorrow

Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain has announced the schedule for a bus tour of Florida, including Tampa Bay area stops today and tomorrow, that will end in Orlando for the Presidency 5 state GOP convention and straw poll.

Details from his announcement:

Today at noon, he’ll meet with the Tea Party Manatee at Mixon’s in the Grove at 2525 27th Street East in Bradenton, then attend a 3:30 p.m. meet-and-greet with Belleaire Republican Women’s Club at the Belleair Country Club. Tonight at 7 p.m., it’s a rally with Sarasota Republican Party at the Charlotte County Cultural Center in Port Charlotte.

Tomorrow, he holds an 8:30 a.m. Meet-and-Greet at Grandpa Johnson’s Barbecue, 1401 West Martin Luther King Boulevard in Plant City; then appears at the Polk County Republican Reagan Dinner at the Lakeland Civic Center.

Cain, like most of the other presidential candidates, will be in Orlando Thursday, Friday and Saturday for Presidency 5.

Update: Cain has cancelled the Plant City event because of a case of the flu, but will still hold a meet-and-greet with Hillsborough County Republicans and Presidency 5 delegates at 11:30 a.m. at county GOP headquarters at 1602 Oakfield Drive in Brandon, his campaign says.
