As If McCain Didn’t Have Enough Problems ...

John McCain’s presidential campaign has been shedding staff and senior advisers in the wake of six months of disappointing fundraising, and pundits are speculating about whether the former front-runner can continue in the race.

As if all that wasn’t enough, some are noting that state Rep. Bob Allen, who made headlines Wednesday being busted on a charge of soliciting a male undercover officer for oral sex, was announced in March as one of the John McCain presidential campaign’s Florida legislative co-chairs.

In a press release March 26, McCain named state Sens. Jim King and Durell Peaden as heads of his Legislative Leadership Team, along with state Reps. Adam Hasner, John Legg, David Simmons, and Allen.
