I think the Feds should send Al-Arian
Suggest removaland all his cronies to Israel, That’s where he should have been tried in the first place, That’s who his evil doings were against !!
Por (Valrico Joe) on December 06, 2005 (Suggest removal)
The people who defend Al-Arian are in denial, and extremely naive
Suggest removalI saw Al-Arian on tape calling for Israel to be wiped off the globe

Great News…May God bless him and his family…After spending for more than 3 years in jail on false and made up accusations by “Fox” Bill O’Reilly and Ashcroft to go after those who defend liberty and justice of the Palestinians and expose the “Israeli” government and its atrocities. God bless you again.

They should be more concerned about securing our borders. Our country is being flooded with cheap labor, on top of all the outsourcing of jobs that is going on.
We don’t have any real money in this country anymore. Silver is real money. Look it up, it’s in the constitution.

Are you concerned about your property rights? You should be!
Support and defend the Constitution, not the Central Bankers and Globalists and Fabians.

This case should have absolutely nothing to do with what Al-Arian apparently said on some obscure “tape” with regard to the state of Israel. If he committed crimes against the United States, then sure, he should be tried for those crimes. But all along, this was a public relations stunt by the Justice Department to show that they are actually doing something in the “War on Terror.” Let’s start pooling our resources to defeat the real terrorists, not for the purposes of silencing critics of our government or of our allies.

It is very good news!!!
Suggest removalHe is a man with strong beliefs and he was not afraid to make everybody hear him.
Now every one in America know about him and what he stands for. Is not a crime to love your country. Finally justice is served. Great job America!
Por (Rachel) on December 07, 2005 (Suggest removal)
An abominable decision. All one had to do was watch the tapes of his inflammatory, anti-Semitic rantings in an attempt to raise funds to support terrorism to see the true nature of this man. What is wrong with the jury system in this country? Perhaps we should forsake the concept of a decision from one’s “peers”, and switch to a jury of professionals.

I am happy that the witch hunt failed! As a woman of Jamican decent, if Jamica were enemy number one and we were viewed as “terrorists” chances are as large of a family as I have any money I sent home to help my family would be considered funds to aid in terrorism and the destruction of the people in the United States.
Stop seeking to blame others for the problems that we have within our country. We have enough criminals born raised and bred here (some even creating legislation) and leaving the hole open for the real terrorists that we rather seek innocent life then seek truth and question ourselves.
Always make or media and leaders earn our trust with consistent bipartisan truth.

I am very happy about the verdict and glad that they all got out of jail. AMEEN

All the anti-Muslim haters will repeat the same comment “wake-up America.”
Haters should know that America did wake-up, it’s easy to be critical from your living room and complain “how did the jury not get it” but there was “so much evidence” etc. ....
We’re talking about 12 random jurors some of which came in with anti-Muslim bias. In all the comments I’ve read/seen made by jurors, the repeated “no evidence.”
This case has cost us and our taxes dollars $350 million, that should be a wake up call for us.
All Americans won today as justice has prevailed. If you’re going to continue to doubt the outcome, than maybe you should check your own beliefs and/or biases.
Thank God for blessing us and making us all American.
Suggest removalPor (FreeSami) on December 07, 2005 (Suggest removal)
This was truly a courageous act by the jurors. These charges were invented in the post 9/11 “Patriotism Act†hysteria and they were able to see the case as it was, that is to say, there was no case at all. I never once thought that Sami was guilty.
I just hope he can get his job back at USF with back pay.

The ignorance of Americans is dismaying.
The Palestinian Cause is about restoring rights and freedom to live in their own native country.
What is illegal about financially aiding Palestinian victims of terror? There is nothing illegal about donating money to the Jewish Defense League.
Palestinians have not commited crimes against America for it’s financial support of Israeli terror.
911 was retaliation by Saudi Osama Bin Laden against American influence in Middle Eastern politics. There was not one Palestinian on board any hijacked planes.
Lumping all people from the Middle East together, what is effectively being said is that “all people of Middle Eastern decent look the same”. This is nothing more than racism.

Freedom of Speech…
Freedom of The Press…
Freedom of Religion…
and now Freedom to Associate with Known Terrorist Organizations!!!
Way to go America! Lawmakers, keep up the great work interpreting our founding fathers’ Constitution and we Americans should all be dead by 2010!
Not guilty, what a joke!
Suggest removalPor (AAMIR KHAN) on December 07, 2005 (Suggest removal)
Good News! After years of wiretaps and other invasive investigative techniques, the government was unable to show anything other than he was an ardent supporter of the Palestinian cause.
This is a show of support for our liberties, particularly freedom of speech. I’m dismayed that so many in our society fail to understand this

I think that it is an outrage for such a conspirator to be found not guilty. As a student at USF, I feel that our President made the right decision by “taking out the trash.”
Suggest removalPor (Barbara) on December 07, 2005 (Suggest removal)
God Bless America! HE needs to bless us after this terrible decision. All these people need to be deported. Al-Arian needs to live in Palestine and hopefully the Israelis will get a hold of him and give him real justice.
Suggest removalPor (sam tampa) on December 07, 2005 (Suggest removal)
I say to the bigots on this board, shame on you. What does it take to convince you that justice was served? That government had 9 years and all the money they needed to make a case.
They had the media bashing these guys for years and they even brought in the father of the girl that was killed in Israel for added measure and still could not get a single guilty verdict.
Suggest removalIsn’t it time that these FBI agents are brought in to explain the waste of money and time of these innocent people?
Por (Mike) on December 07, 2005 (Suggest removal)
Since when do they allow jurors to smoke crack during a trial? Now there will be mandatory drug screens for all potential jurors.
What on earth were these people thinking?? I hope none of them wind up as a juror on any child sex cases. Don’t let them ( and you know who THEY are) take Christmas away from us.
Suggest removalPor (Christina) on December 07, 2005 (Suggest removal)
This has nothing to do with Palestine or Israel.
It has to do with America and our judicial system.
Al-Arian’s case was presented to a jury taken from amongst us. All of us could not not sit in on the trial and we do not know the evidence that was presented, but they do.
They saw it and decided it wasn’t enough to convict him. That takes courage.
I wouldn’t want to live in a country that doesn’t allow for a fair and impartial hearing. Emotion, Zionism and Jihad have no place in our courtrooms, just facts.
Suggest removalPor (DQuickly) on December 07, 2005 (Suggest removal)
Why all the hub bub ?
The Man was found not guilty.
Now deport the hate monger back to his country and let him raise money for his cause there. He has caused enough strife in this country.
Our contitution works, even though some people try each day to degrade it and destroy it.
It’s a shame that all before us that defended our freedom, have only memories of a great country. The liberals are constantly spewing crap every day.
They are ruining this country. I am afraid it’s too late for us to recover the country that was founded by our forefathers.
Suggest removalPor (Scott in Lutz) on December 07, 2005 (Suggest removal)
The verdict is proof that the American system of justice requires more than a hunch to convict someone.
However, this is not vindication for Al-Arian. He has been exposed as a supporter of terrorism. His support for terror on Israel is well-documented. His support of terror organizations is well documented. Regardless of the outcome of the remaing charges, one thing is clear - Al-Arian has overstayed his welcome.
Revoke his green card.
Deport him.
Let him take the hate back to he Middle East. Let him preach hate from a street corner in the Gaza Strip.
Let him now promote violence and death on the very streets where he is advocating these actions instead of from the warm and safe confines of a classroom.

Bush and the FBI has wasted enough money on this bogus case. Oh Mr. FBI where are the Anthax killers.
The only sad part is the jury had to spend 6 months listening to a DA with no evidence. grrr
Without Al-Arian pushing the Muslim voters to vote for Bush in 2000 Bush would have not got elected.
And everybody remember Bush’s friend Karl Rove had Al-Arian into the WH…
Suggest removalPor (Mike Pitcher) on December 07, 2005 (Suggest removal)
This verdict was just. I think the FBI is as corrupt as when J Edgar Hoover ran it. This verdict just proves that.
Long live free speech. George Bush wants to take away all our rights under the Patriot Act.

All of them-they are terrorists& should be deported.
What was this jury thinking? This is the problem here in America, we are too politcally correct & afraid to speak the truth because some group may be offended.
Suggest removalKeep them out of TAMPA & our country. Israel would have done a better job.!
