1 Service Member Killed Last Week

As you admire the lights of your Christmas tree, Hannukah menorah or merely the stars above, remember that we are still at war.

Last week, there was one U.S. service member killed.

Spc. Mikayla A. Bragg, 21, of Longview, Wash., died Dec. 21 in Khowst province, Afghanistan.  She was assigned to the 201st Brigade Support Battalion, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, Fort Knox, Ky.

There have now been 1,839 casualties of Operation Enduring Freedom.
