For most people, a trip to the construction site is for fun or curiosity. But for Monica Craichy and her five children, this is educational.
Craichy home schools her children, and is using the television show as a school activity.

The Craichys have a blanket set up near the home, where the children are taking notes for a report they will write when the home is complete.
“It was just the wood walling, and two days later, they have this,” says 13-year-old Kyle Craichy as he looks at the nearly completed exterior.
Monica Craichy says this project is perfect for home school students.
“That’s what home schoolers look for,” she says. “Something interesting instead of just reading books at home.”
