Polk County residents can add to their families with pet adoptables or take advantage of discounted veterinary services at the annual PCSO Pet Fest on Saturday, Dec. 1.
The free event is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the facility, 7115 De Castro Road, Winter Haven.
This year’s festivities will include an added incentive to adopt: the first 100 people to adopt a pet will receive a free Legoland ticket.
During this special event, adoption fees are discounted to just $25 on all pets.
Those with pets can get vaccinations for $5 each and microchips are discounted to $15.
There will be also be food and activities for families and their pets, bounce houses and demonstrations by the PCSO K-9 Unit. Santa and Mrs. Claus will also be ready to take photos with families and pets.
If you are interested in adopting a pet at the event, you may prequalify for adoption by completing the Pre-Adoption Screening Form online ahead of time.
