I am ALMOST halfway there!!!!!  I’m still battling morning sickness and feel guilty about feeling bad.  I’m so excited we’re having this baby but I’m already wishing it was over.  I must say my morning sickness has improved.. the first 3 months were almost unbearable.. but I just wish I had that second trimester glow!

I find I’m eating all the time.. which just means I will be in for a serious diet once this little one finally is born.  I can’t help myself since food is the only thing that makes my tummy feel better.  I’m hoping some of you out there can relate!

This is my first BLOG ever.. so I’m kind of anxious to hear from other Moms going through the same thing.

Till next time…...

Hey Stacie - I remember those sickening feelings.  Food really was the only thing for me to make them fade.  The more I ate, the less the nausea came.  Nothing wrong with eating as much as you want.  The baby needs it and so do you.  My little one is a year and a half already but the memories are still fresh.  I feel for you.  Hang in there!

Hi Stacie,
I am 18 weeks along and still battling that morning sickness! Only mine makes me not want to eat much at all and only plain things like grits and mashed potatoes. I’ve lost 12 lbs so far but since I started with a surplus, no one is worried! We had infertility problems so I am overjoyed to be sick, I just wish the nosebleeds would not accompany the daily prayers to porcelain! That is truly icky and scares my husband to death! Thanks for doing the special reports, I’m really enjoying them! Thank heavens for DVR!  Good Luck, Rose

Hi Stacey.  I was so excited to hear that you are pregnant!  Partially b/c I just found out a couple months ago that I am pregnant as well.  I am a few weeks behind you though.  I’m at 14 weeks, just making it into my second trimester.  This is my first and we are soooo excited!  As for the morning sickness, I never got it.  The first few weeks I did feel the nausea quite often, mostly at night.  I was looking forward to the time when I would start craving foods, anxious to see what it would be.  Instead, I find myslef having to force myself to eat b/c NOTHING sounds good.
I hope you get to feeling better soon.  What number (pregancy) is this for you?  I miss all your programs on Channel 8 b/c I’m at work while they’re on.  I’d love to read more if you have time to write them in your blogs.

I know EXACTLY what you mean!!  I used to have a “must have coffee” attitude in the morning, but I’ve found that I have to eat as soon as I get out of bed, and opt for the coffee a bit later.  If I start to feel even remotely hungry throughout the day, it is accompanied by an “icky, queasy” feeling.  I eat all day long just to avoid that feeling!  I’m almost 12 weeks along now, and this is baby #3 for me, but my youngest is six, so it all seems like it’s my first time!!

Good luck!!

Hi Stacie,

Thank you so much for sharing your pregnancy and having the baby on the way stories.  Your stories are helping me answer a lot of questions. I have to work while they are on but I’m able to catch up with them on TBO.com.  I’m also pregnant, a couple of weeks behind you, this is our first, due Jan. 6.  I will definelty follow your weblogs.

Good luck with the morning sickness, I hope you start to feel better soon.  I had a bit of morning sickness in the 1st trimester (usually when I got hungry), but now it is pretty much gone.

Wishing everyone a happy, healthy pregnancy.

Hi Stacie,
My boys are 15 and 7. I remember all to well the morning sickness I had. It was no picnic. I had sickness 24/7 with both of them. From my 3rd to my 6th month. I couldn’t eat anything. My doctors had told me to eat saltines and no dairy, well I found out that saltines made me really sick and the dairy helped me out. When I was 6 months pregnant with Chris (7) I was able to eat and eat and I gained weight. Best Wishes

Dear Stacie,
I was happy to hear that you and Gayle are supplying this web site to pregnancies!  I found myself totally surprised by finding out I’m pregnant.  I’m really early in the stages.  I’m only approx. 9 weeks so far.  I have been really nausious during the later part of the day but not in the a.m. I realize I have a long way to go but are there any remedies out there for the nausua?  I’m very causious on my eating.  I also find myself very gassy.(only burping)  If there are any suggestions out there I’d love to hear of them! I’m hoping by the end of the 1st trimester I’ll start feeling better!  have a 10 yr. old boy so it’s been a little time ago since I’ve been in this situation.  Thanks for the site and I look forward to hearing from your followers!
