No trick: Get free meals on Halloween

Before you hit the neighborhood for trick-or-treating, take advantage of free and cheap food deals on Halloween.

* NEW! Order a wood-fired pizza from Carraba’s and enter the code “$5 Pizza” at checkout and save more than half.

* Stop in at any Chipotle Mexican Grill location in costume and get your burrito, bowl, salad or order of tacos for just $2. The offer is good for either lunch or dinner. 

* Outback Steakhouse restaurants are offering a free kids meal with the purchase of an adult entree on Wednesday. The free kids meal offer is for children ages 10 and younger only.  For more details, visit their website. Diners can also get a coupon for a free steak dinner on their next visit, see your waiter for more information. 

* Bob Evans Restaurants are offering kids a free meal with coupon (sign up here) through Wednesday. For more information, visit their Facebook page. Adult entree purchase is required. 

* Subway Restaurants will be giving away free “Frankenweenie” trick-or-treat bags with glowsticks with every kids meal, while supplies last. 

* Get a free Halloween or pumpkin spice doughnut at participating Krispy Kreme locations on Wednesday while supplies last. No purchase is necessary. The offer is limited to one doughnut per customer. Both Tampa Krispy Kreme locations are confirmed to be participating.

* Kids in costume eat free on Halloween at Tijuana Flats. The offer is limited to one free kids meal per adult entree purchased and valid only on Wednesday. Kids meals include a beverage, entree and applesauce or a treat and is limited to children ages 12 and younger. There are four Tijuana Flats locations in Tampa including: 2782 E. Fowler Ave., 10019 North Dale Mabry,  9520 W. Linebaugh Ave. and 17501 Preserve Walk Lane.
