In support of our troops, members of the military (both active-duty and veterans) and up to three direct dependents are invited to visit Lowry Park Zoo for free.

The military member will need to show a valid Department of Defense photo ID at the zoo’s ticket counter to claim the offer on May 27.

Dependents may also take advantage of the offer even without their service member in attendance. An adult must accompany minor dependents, and dependent ages 10 and over must present valid dependent ID.

Department of Defense civilians, reservists, retirees, active duty military, and their immediate family members, can purchase significantly discounted tickets through MacDill AFB at the 6FSS with valid military ID.

The zoo is open each day from 9:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. and regular admission is between $19.95 for children and $24.95 for adults.

The offer is not valid with any other discounts. Active military discounts are for daytime admission only and not valid during special events.

Lowry Park Zoo is at 1101 W. Sligh Ave., Tampa.
