Huggies new Jeans diaper: so cute or just ridiculous?

I’m having trouble wrapping my mind around the new Huggies Jeans diaper.  First, I can’t understand WHY they made a diaper that looks like jean shorts, since most people put real shorts on over a diaper.  Second, the commercial I saw features a boy.  A friend pointed out it the limited-time diapers actually make more sense for girls who could wear them under rompers or dresses.  Personally, I think they would have been super-cute as swim diapers. 

What do you think?  Are they over the top?  The tagline is “The coolest you’ll look pooping in your pants” and the commercial has lines like, “Your diaper’s full… full of fashion” and “Now when you do #2, you’ll look like #1.”  Click here to vote
