I’m a scorpio and have my first baby girl due just past the scorpio deadline! Sheeewww! We are very strong and independent but intense - always searching for the meaning of life. Oh and very jealous creatures, but we make loving and affectionate people so your newest daughter will always be your biggest fan!  Good luck and next time let’s move to Alaska while we are pregnant! I can’t stand this heat!!

Hey there,  Just wanted to say since we moved here from Pa, my husband and I looked forward to viewing your news casts.  You have a warmth about you that made us feel welcome right away, in establishing our new found stomping grounds.  Channel 16 news Wilkes Barre is not as interesting to say the least.  Love your sense of humor and the way you and John Winter go at it…

ps - How do you like this name ? (Mara) some spell it Maura as well.  My nephew just named their baby in VA, Aliyah Mara. I think that sounds so pretty with Guyardo.  Mara Guyardo…uh

I’m a true scorpian woman. Determined and bitchy at times. I do not hold grudges, but I never forget when I’ve been wronged. I’m not a push over. I am true to my word, my friends and my family.

As for your foot problems, I know exactly what you mean. When I was pregnant, I started out with a size 7 shoe. By my 6th month, I was a size 12! My lips grew and my face looked like a train wreck. My fingers grew freakishly fat. The good news, I gained very little weight and returned to my pre-pregnancy weight immediatly after birth. 

My routine..  to rise well before my girls, at 5 am. I read my paper, drink my coffee and watch your show. That’s the only time I have to myself all day and I look forward to it. If I am cheated of that time, I become a real cranky Momma!

The summer heat is a killer, Gayle. Hang in there girl!

Hi, Gayle… I was so excited to hear you and Stacey are pregnant (with me) and even more excited to see your blog!!

I’m also due Nov 17 with baby #3.. I have a boy and a girl and am expecting another boy.  I also expect to deliver before then.  I have gestational diabetes.  My brother’s bday is Oct 19 and my mom’s is Oct 27, so I’m hoping for at least Oct 27.

I love watching your newscasts and will be praying for you and Stacey.

Dear Gayle I am really excited about you Stacie being pregnant.  I love to watch channel eight news in the mornings because you are serious and funny, plus you don’t have big feet. My daughter is a libra.  Columbus day baby.  She is 13 years old and my best friend.  The sweetest girl you have ever met. I had really gotten big during the summer myself.  Try to drink lots of fluids and keep a fan handy.

Hey Gayle,

My wife and I are having our third baby and the due date is Nov 19. It is also a girl. We have two boys, and are nervous because we don’t know what to do with a girl. Anyhow, we will have our third c-section, so our actual delivery date could be around the 11th. Maybe we’ll see ya at the Hospital : ).

Oh my gosh!! I used to watch you every morning before school and I moved to Gainesville for a couple years.. got married had a baby girl (02-09-04) and I just moved back to NPR and log on to this site and see you are expecting again!! Congrats!!

Hello!  I love watching your station and feel like you are all such a big family.  I was so giddy to hear that you and Stacie are pregnant at the same time and along with the Motherhood segment, I feel like I have someone to compare little things to.  I am 27 weeks pregnant now and just had a 4D ultrasound on Saturday(AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!)that definetly confirms that we are having a little girl too.  This is our first child and we are very excited.  It’s great!  You are both in my thoughts and prayers for happy healthy deliveries!

Is there something in the water over at the News Center?  FOUR of you “with child” at the same time, including Jen Hill.  I’ll bet you keep your ND in a goofy state.

I know about big babies:  When my son was born (nearly 25 years ago), he weighed in at 10 pounds 7 ounces!  He’s still big today!

Am praying for all of you to have well, safe children, and enjoy all of you over there.  Just keep Winter in line!
