This year’s the first time I haven’t signed my kids up for activities every week of the summer. They’re getting older, and heck, they need a less-structured environment for a change.
Still, I think it’s important all kids get out and move as much as possible. I recently visited a bunch of programs offering options that don’t take too much time or cost an arm and a leg.
But if you’re still stumped about what to do with the kids this summer, why not try a sampling of activities next weekend in Hyde Park.
A variety of local kids fitness programs such as yoga, martial arts and dance are taking part in Fit Kids Playground on Satruday June 13. The event will be held at Hyde Park Village.
