The Clearwater Public Library system will participate in a free “Dream Big Read!” summer reading program for school-age children.
Kickoffs for the program are scheduled the second week in June and are followed by weekly enrichment programs. Activities include nature and science demonstrations, magic shows, dance performances, professional storytellers, origami and more. In addition, participants read books and weekly prizes are awarded to those who report their reading accomplishments.
Parents can sign up their children to participate at these locations: Countryside, Tuesday, June 12; East, Saturday, June 9; Main, Monday, June 11; and North Greenwood, Tuesday, June 12.
All programs are at 2 p.m.
Branch programs and days vary and are titled accordingly: Countryside, “Terrific Tuesdays;” East, “Wacky Wednesdays;” Main, “Magnificent Mondays;” and North Greenwood, “Tremendous Tuesdays.”
For information on individual branch programs, call (727) 562-4970 or visit www.myclearwater.com/cpl.
