Free pet shot clinic in Northdale

The Humane Society of Tampa Bay will be hosting free pet shots on Saturday, Aug. 24.

From 9 a.m until 11 a.m., pets and community feral cats can get free DA2PP/FVRCP and Rabies vaccinations at Northdale Park, 15550 Spring Pine Dr., Tampa.

The free vaccinations will be available to all Hillsborough County residents, but limited to the first 500 animals. There is a household limit of four animals.

In addition to the vaccinations, free licenses will be available for residents of zip code 33624 with valid identification.

Dogs and cats must be at least 8 weeks old to receive DA2PP/FVRCP vaccines and at least 3 months old to receive Rabies vaccinations.
                               
Dogs must be on leashes and cats must be in carriers or traps.
