Free movie ticket for blood donors

If you donate blood on a regular basis, you probably do it because it makes you feel good to help people.

Well, your good Samaritan tendencies deserve a reward every now and then.

Starting Sunday (Nov. 11), donors at select locations will be treated to a free movie ticket with their donation.

The promotion runs through Dec. 31 and tickets are good at participating Fandango theaters.

Donors also routinely get a wellness checkup of blood pressure, pulse, temperature, iron count and cholesterol screening as part of the donation process.
