The Bay Area Renaissance Fest is here once again.

This time you can watch the jousting matches, shop for pottery and tapestries and participate in a hypnotist show all for free.

To receive one free admission, just donate blood at Florida Blood Services’ mobile collection center on-site on Feb 25-26 and March 3-4.

Anyone too chicken or not medically able to donate blood can also save on admission. Just donate five non-perishable food items and get $5 off one regularly priced ticket.  Tickets are $18.95 for adults, $10.95 for kids ages 5 - 12 and $14.95 for seniors age 62 and over.

The event runs through April 1 and is open on weekends only.

Parking at the festival is free.
