The Festival of States Annual Familyfest, sponsored by Bright House Networks, Bayfront Baby Place, General Dynamics, and the Junior League of St. Petersburg will take place on Thursday, March 25th from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in North Straub Park.
Family-focused entertainment, free arts and crafts activities, games, bounce houses, a rock wall and a summer camp zone are scheduled.

Entertainment will include performances by Ella Jet, a local 11-year old singer songwriter; the Cross Bayou Elementary Signing Chorus comprised of both hearing and deaf students; Silly Sam the Music Man and Shana Banana.
Radio Disney, Lowry Park Zoo, the Salvador Dali Museum, the Pier Aquarium, the Science Center of Pinellas County, Great Explorations, Celebration Station and others will provide giveaways and activities throughout the evening. Also planned is a Summer Camp Zone produced by Families on the Go Magazine.

Admission to Familyfest and most activities are free. Some games and inflatables will require a purchased wristband.
The Illuminated Night Parade will also take place on Thursday, March 25th starting at 7:00 p.m. followed by fireworks at approximately 8:30 p.m. and a Party in the Park featuring live music by the Barracudas.
The Baywalk and South Core garages will be open for public parking. Handicap parking is available on 5th Avenue North in front of the Vinoy.
The Festival of States, produced annually by the Suncoasters of St. Petersburg, will celebrate its 89th year in 2010. The 2010 events have included the All County Music Fest, The Scholastic Art Awards, and the annual Coronation Ball
