It’s so much fun to feel the baby kick!  I feel a lot of it but it’s not to the point where my husband can feel it on the outside yetl I forgot what a neat sensation it is to have that other life growing inside you.  I’ve received some good name suggestions from some of you but we still haven’t decided on one.. so keep ‘em coming.  Till next time…

Isn’t it so nice and reassuring to feel that movement? I’m just now feeling some bumps and twirls (at 18 wks), so maybe I can go ahead and return the doppler, which I rented to hear the heartbeat and give me piece of mind.

I do remember the last time I was pregnant, I had many sleepless nights from the acrobatics my son did. But still, its reassuring to feel all that activity!

Hi Stacie,

Just wanted to give a beautiful, not too strange girl name suggestion to you.  Our daughter named our first granddaughter, Matisse Rebecca.  They live in Houston TX, & Matisse is 2 1/2 yrs. old now, with number two due on Sept. 20th.  Matisse was named after the French painter, Matisse… My daughter & son in law like his paintings… Good luck on choosing your new precious babe’s name!  I think the online ‘Blogs’ are a great idea!
Blessings,
Nancy

Hello!  I love watching your station and feel like you are all such a big family.  I was so giddy to hear that you and Gayle are pregnant at the same time and along with the Motherhood segment, I feel like I have someone to compare little things to.  I am 27 weeks pregnant now and just had a 4D ultrasound on Saturday(AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!)that definetly confirms that we are having a girl.  It’s great!  I have a few good name ideas(ones that my husband won’t agree on, but I think they are great) Madison, Makayla, Allie, Alexandria, Aubrey, Callie, and Skyler.  Hope this might help!

Hi, Stacie.

I have three children now, ages six, four, and three. While my son has an unusual name (Cordell Bruce), my two daughters are pretty usual…Rachael Lynn and Holley Nicholle.

Holley’s is spelled differently from the traditional “Holly” because my husband used to be a mechanic and worked on Holley carburators. (Weird, I know! But nice all the same.)

As for a unique girl’s name, here is one that I really like…it was supposed to be Rachael’s name and my husband said “No way!” The name is Carrigan Renee. I wanted to name her that so I could call her “Carrie” for short. But didn’t get me way. :(

I hope you are feeling well and wish you all the best. I did it three times, and can never do it again (had a tubal 6 weeks after Holley was born) - but I remember the excitement and anticipation that came along with each one, and I hope that you are able to experience the same feelings your whole 9 months! smile
