Family golf outing for under $50

When a family of four goes on an outing together, the costs start to add up.

That’s just the reality of having a good time with kids in tow.

But this summer, if your brood likes to golf, there’s a deal in store for you.

Wentworth Golf Club in Tarpon Springs is offering family fun on Sundays at a discount.

For $49, a family of four (must include one junior member) can golf nine holes after 2 p.m. The deal includes four hot dogs and 4 soft drinks.

The deal runs through Sunday, Aug. 19.

Kids (under 16) can also golf for free daily at Wentworth with a paying adult, if the group starts after noon. Adult pays regular rate and no other discounts are accepted with the offer.
