Hey kids! Put on your favorite team’s jersey or hat and head to the Tampa Bay History Center on Saturday, Feb. 27, for its “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” program.
The family-friendly program focuses on the Tampa Bay’s historic connection to America’s favorite pastime. There will be a tour of the Negro Leagues Baseball exhibit, lots of hands-on games and activities, followed by pastries and breakfast treats from Columbia Cavfe.
It’s part of the Morning at the Museum series and take place from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Pre-registration is required and the cost is $14 per adult and $10 per child, with a $2 discount off each ticket if you’re a member of the Center.

If you can’t make it tomorrow, here are the dates for the next few Morning at the Museum series, which are all events geared for kids ages 5 to 12:

May 22: Get a Clue! Museum Mysteries
If you have kids younger than five, then check out the Center’s Little History Preschoolers Club, which also hosts programs one Saturday a month.
