ROGER MOONEY
BOSTON—
Carl Crawford has done a lot of things during his big league career—won an All-Star Game MVP, stolen home, stole six bases in one game, became only the eighth player to have 400 steals, 100 triples and 100 home runs in his career.

But on Monday at Fenway Park, Crawford doubled in each of his first three at-bats.

That’s the first three-double game of his career. He’s had 16 games with two doubles.
