Freeman Says Thumb Won’t Keep Him Out Of Opener

TAMPA - It looks as though it will take a lot more than a sore thumb to keep Bucs QB Josh Freeman from starting the opener Sunday against the Browns. When asked Tuesday what, if anything, would keep him from starting that game, Freeman was emphatic.
“Not my thumb,’’ he said. “It would have to be something outside of that.’’
